Nominated in Blas na h’Eireann Awards

The Blas na hEireann food awards are taking place this weekend and we’re delighted to say our cider has been shortlisted the the medium dry cider category while our cider vinegar has also received a nomination. The awards are the biggest accolade for quality Irish produce and it’s a great honour to be nominated. Gold, silver and bronze awards are up for grabs and hopefully we will be brining gold back to Louth.

The Boyne Valley will be well represented at the Dingle Peninsula Food Festival, where the awards are taking place, which is testament to the amount of quality food and drink coming out of the region. If you were at the Taste of Togher over the weekend, or any of the Boyne Valley Food Series events, you would have seen what we mean.

Fingers crossed for Saturday – hopefully we’ll be announcing our win next week.
