Stockist of the week: Buckle Up, Sandymount Village, Dublin

This week’s Stockist of the Week is Buckle Up in South Dublin’s Sandymount Village. Claiming to serve Melbourne-style dining in Dublin 4, this new eatery serves modern, worldly cuisine and speciality coffee to people from the locale and beyond. They’ve also got a secret sun trap out the back which, if September is nice like it sometimes can be, will be particularly enjoyable to sit in next month.

Like most restaurants, there are three main sittings here with breakfast, lunch and dinner. On their breakfast menu you’ll discover dishes such as Avocado Hummus Toast and the BFG (Bacon, Fried (egg) and Guacamole on a bap), while at lunch you can try everything from Beetroot Burger to a Melbourne Chicken Cesar (sumac chicken, parmesan, baby greens and yuzu).

Like so many Dublin eateries, brunch is a big thing here too, with their menu gracing the tables every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday from 9am-4pm. Visit then and you’ll be able to try their own take on French Toast and Sheikshuka – a mixture of a spiced tomato sauce, fried eggs, olives and falafel.

Check out Buckle Up’s full menu on their website, while you can also keep up to date by following them onFacebookTwitter & Instagram.
